Teresa Morehouse

Leslie brings years of experience to her role as Operations Manager at Loaves & Fishes. Passionate about our community and dedicated to preventing food waste, she ensures that every meal is thoughtfully prepared, sustainable, and served with dignity. Leslie’s deep connection to the local food landscape and her commitment to food justice make her an invaluable member of our team.


Shaunessy Bordas
Development & Community Relations Manager

Bio: Shaunessy Bordas, was born and raised in South Florida, and moved to Chicago to attend fashion school. After graduating, she spent 15 years working in the fashion industry and operating her own clothing line while hustling various jobs in the farm to table food scene. She moved to Ithaca in 2016 with her family to buy land and started a farm to table wood fired pizza business. For the next few years, Shaunessy ran the business with her partner at the time, doing private catering events and pop ups at wineries and breweries throughout the Finger Lakes area. However, like for most people, pandemic times hit hard, and she had to pivot away from the business. Over the next couple of years, she ran private events for the Treman Center, while bartending and doing prep work for local catering businesses. In 2022, she was hired as the General Manager for South Hill Cider, where she did                                                  everything from running day to day business operations, marketing and social media, as well as planning and executing large                                                      scale events. She currently lives just outside of Ithaca with her two kids, ages 8 and 12.


Nick Bunce-Herring

Bio: Nick grew up in Ithaca and developed an early appreciation for local food and community. He holds a B.A. in Biology and Creative Writing from Oberlin College and gained meaningful experience cooking in student co-ops and local restaurants. With a background in social work and a strong commitment to community care, Nick brings a thoughtful, service-oriented approach to his role as Receiver at Loaves and Fishes.


Megan Silverstein
Kitchen Production Assistant

Bio: Megan Silverstein joined Loaves and Fishes in March 2026 as the Kitchen Production Assistant. She's lived in the Finger Lakes area for the past twelve years after graduating from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Feeding people is one of her love languages and she's expressed that by working in the restaurant industry for the past fifteen years. From creating the bread program at Greenstar Coop in 2018 to being the pastry chef at Kindred Fare in Geneva, she strives to bring local and creative                                                        meals to her community. She also plays violin in the Ithaca community orchestra and raises ducks for meat and eggs.
